Make Sense Using Scents
It's no secret that dogs navigate this world using the power of their nose. It's their primary sense.
Our dog's noses are perfectly formed to draw up scent. In fact, they are able to breathe in and out at the same time.
Their sense of smell is between 10,000 and 100,000 times more powerful than ours.
Yet we don't use it enough when we train our dog.
We typically don't communicate to our dogs using their sense of smell.

Honestly, when Jackpot and I first qualified as an explosives detection dog team, I thought I had reached a high point in my career. Having bred Jackpot, I already had so much to be grateful for, but then along came Hyperosmia (a heightened sense of smell) and I was given a fresh new perspective on how to incorporate the language of smell that dogs understand, into a training method. It's proven useful with two aging and declining dogs of ours - when a dog starts to lose it's sight and goes deaf, you have a communication challenge on your hands, but my Nose to Heart Training Method has changed that. I am stoked to be offering this to you, and I am super excited at the prospect of dogs and owners immersing themselves in this enjoyable training experience.
